Aquatic Sanctuary

The sea sirens call in the smallest of places
This stream draws me in as if I were hypnotized
Mechanically, my body dives headfirst into the water

A Mecca of secrets and excitement,
yet so calm that it caresses my soul
Something so relaxing that I go into complete water zen

The vegetation turns into masses of seaweed
Even the small stream flows into a vast sea
the ripples shift form into thrashing waves
It is truly is my aquatic sanctuary

The sirens end their call
I will come back to this haven again
I anticipate visiting again more each time
Until then, I pray that this love of mine stays untouched by time
